Joggers World Fun Run Series

The Joggers World Fun Run Series is an exciting new concept, featuring a program of four races on a standardised 2km course in the Adelaide Parklands, Ityamaiitpinna Park 15 CBC Oval. The series is open to runners of all levels and runs from 4th May - 10th August.

Whether you are just starting out, a jogger, a triathlete, a serious runner or just have an interest in personal fitness, everyone is welcome to enter and join in the fun

Recreation Week

Recreation SA will be hosting Recreation Week from Monday 8 September to Sunday 14 September 2008 to promote a variety of recreational activities for a more active lifestyle across South Australia.

There are 45 organisations taking part, offering more than 100 activities to try. Many activities on offer are FREE or are highly discounted for this week only.

The come and try activities on offer include high ropes, aqua aerobics, cycling, bush walking, kids fun fitness, canoeing, brazilian dancing, personal training, active family fun day, kayaking, outdoor group fitness, countryside walking, capoeira, tai chi, triathlons and much more!

April School Holiday Sport and Recreation Programs

Keep your children active over the coming April school holidays through the range of sport and recreation programs available. Activities are being offered to various age groups at reasonable rates.

Parks Walks 2008

Heart Foundation Walking - Parks Walks aim to encourage people to enjoy themselves in their local natural environments including national parks, conservation parks, recreation parks and botanic gardens. The program invites community members to participate in free monthly walks led by Heart Foundation Walking volunteer Walk Organisers or Friends of the Parks volunteers. These 1-2 hour walks cater for a variety of ages and fitness levels.
