Business SA Statewide Changes and Challenges Conference

Members of the Physical Activity Branch at the Office for Recreation and Sport recently ran a workshop at Buisness SA's Statewide Changes and Challenges Annual Conference.

The workshop discussed proactive and practical ways to confront the challenges of an ageing workforce and rapid changes in technology through the be active Workplace Project.

Participants came away from the session with an understanding that effective approaches to get people active in the workplace setting require a comprehensive approach. This includes targeting employers with organisational change strategies as well as strategies to support employees to be active at work. A range of practical tools were offered to workshop participants to support implementing a comprehensive approach.
